The following terms & conditions apply to archery & axe throwing sessions with the Axe & Bowman.
The payment is non-refundable apart from if any changes are made (for example a reduction in numbers) if Axe & Bowman is notified at least seven days before the date of the event.
A refund will not be given if a participant does not take part in the Axe & Bowman session due to non-arrival, late arrival or being under the influence of alcohol / drugs.
As the event uses potential weapons the Axe & Bowman reserve the right to terminate and end an event should the rules not be adhered to or behaviour become unacceptable, this would be for the safety of everyone.
Times for archery & axe throwing sessions are fixed - you will need to arrive ten minutes before your allocated start time. If one or more members of the group are late it may not be possible to incorporate them into the group after instruction has started.
No one suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be allowed to shoot.
Axe & Bowman is not liable to any losses or damage to clothing, footwear or personal effects.
It is the responsibility of any participant to inform the instructor if they have any illness, disability or injury.
Axe & Bowman will not cancel an archery & axe throwing session due to poor weather, unless there are extreme circumstances. Axe & Bowman will attempt to contact all attendees provided that we have the correct contact details.
Please note we are unable to accept liability for any errors resulting from data which you have entered incorrectly.
Every effort is made to ensure mechanical reliability. In the unlikely event of breakdown another time slot may be offered at the instructor’s discretion.
In the case of intentional damage to property, Axe & Bowman will pursue those responsible for compensation.
Axe & Bowman is not liable to any losses or damage to clothing, footwear or personal effects.
All participants must be aged 6 years and over and at least 147cm tall.
Any participants under 16 years old will need to be accompanied by two adults throughout the session.
Clothing Advice
Some of the archery & axe throwing areas are covered, but you will still be outside for some of the event time. Suitable clothing could include:
Trainers, walking boots and wellies are ideal.
A waterproof jacket is advisable if rain is forecast (it may get muddy).
